“The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward. But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression. May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
Psalms 19:7-14
Good Morning, Family! Glory to GOD and thanks be for his perfect word. GOD is perfect and perfect for us.
A perfect being” is defined as a being that possesses all possible perfections, so that it is all-powerful, all-knowing, immutable, perfectly good, perfectly simple, and necessarily existent, among other qualities.
We are not perfect, because if we were, we wouldn’t worship him or realize the life saving and changing need for him. Perfection would mean sinlessness and that would mean no requirement for his approval. Unfortunately, there are some who think they are pretty close to perfection: without guilt, fault, and almost no shame at all. Many feel they don’t need GOD, and many others don’t believe he exists at all. How frightening!
No wonder the world is in shambles, struggling and filled with so much unGODly behavior. In the daytime of our lives, while we are yet still alive with breath and the opportunity of choice, we must repent as boldly as we sin. Give him your heart and praise, and believe in him with faith and conviction. Many didn’t get to see this day and we never know when we will be called in death, so time is of the essence, my friends.
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24
Do it today!
Today is the day!!!!!!!!!!
