TIME IS A TREASURED COMMODITY!

STOP WAITING to make plans for a future time that may never come — Instead, PURPOSELY curve out little blocks of time NOW as often as possible. Enjoy the little things now while setting your plans for the bigger things you hope for in the future.

Whether that’s a trip to somewhere you’ve always wanted to go, the things you desire to do in your latter years, a project or activity, or greater involvement in your church and the community – NOW IS THE ACCEPTABLE TIME!

So often, many spend years WAITING for a certain time in life but if we’ve learned nothing in the last 3.5 years, we SHOULD HAVE LEARNED just how INCREDIBLY VALUABLE TIME is, because it is not set by us but by God himself. He has already established the beginning and ending date for all life!

Accordingly, to waste time being consumed by circumstances, things, people (or ourselves) — that we can’t control, instead of turning EVERYTHING OVER TO GOD (for his Word says… Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.—1 Peter 5:7) is INDEED a waste of TIME!

NOW IS THE TREASURED TIME to learn how to follow God’s lead as he changes and weeds out things in our life, especially those things bound in our hearts and flesh. NOW is the time to seek God’s face in all things to gain his perspective for OUR life as he uses everything we experience to shape and mold HIS children into HIS IMAGE (not to be confused with unbelievers — many being deceived into thinking we are ALL God’s children- though that is God’s desire).

God is patient, merciful, and gracious towards us as HE works things out for our good (Romans 8:28), so why keep wasting time (and the newness of life given to his children) trying to make things happen using our ENERGY and limited RESOURCES (for God is the SOURCE OF EVERYTHING)!?

For some, it may take lots of practice and years to learn this. If surrendering your will work for God’s will/plan is an issue for you, then pray Psalm 90:12 which says- “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”

Wisdom will remind us that Time IS A TREASURED COMMODITY that cannot be recouped.

Take this moment to STOP- INHALE/EXHALE- BE STILL – SEEK GOD IN HIS WORD – PRAY – SURRENDER – HONOR THE TREASURED COMMODITY OF THE TIME YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN!
