THE WASHING

I don’t know how many would think it is no big deal to put on dirty clothing after bathing but isn’t that exactly what we do when God has redeemed us from the sin of our first birth and we return to the pleasures of sin?

Many believe we are all God’s children, but unless someone comes alongside them and shares the gospel and the need for them to be BORN AGAIN (John 3:3), they will perish thinking baptism saves them.

We must first give them the gospel (1Corinthians 15:1-4), then help them understand why washing of their sinful nature is necessary (Romans 5:12) before we lead them to confess their need for a Savior (Romans 10:9-10; 1 John 1:9).

Personally speaking, I don’t need riches, a degree, or materialistic stylishness. I just NEED the unconditional love of my Savior, a village of like-minded Christ-centered people, and a heart open to the transformative works of God operating in my mind, heart, and body.

So Brothers and Sisters, let’s present ourselves to the Lord for our daily bath and the cleansing of our soul in THE WORD.

KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN and CHERISH THE GIFT OF YOUR SALVATION ❤️.
