Sometimes we feel a void in our heart that overshadows our peace and contentment with life. It often manifests itself as loneliness. We attempt to fill the void with work, food, or pleasure, but somehow, they never seem to be enough to fill the void. The reason for this is: that void is specifically reserved to be filled by God alone.

God wants a relationship with You! He wants to be your God, your Heavenly Father, your Savior, and your Comforter. He doesn’t just want to give you access to His provisions and resources but he wants to be the ONLY SOURCE for everything you need and desire.

You weren’t designed to maneuver the hills and valleys on the road of life alone. Let God be both your navigator and partner on the journey of life.

PRAYER: LORD I’m tired of feeling lonely and I want you to fill this void that you reserved for your Holy Spirit. I never want to feel lonely again. You are worth seeking after like precious gems and great treasure. I will seek You daily when I wake and when I go to bed. Be my center and be the prominent person who occupies my thoughts. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
