How Deep Do You Want to Go?

Do you crave a deeper crevice of the soul,

To plant your seeds and watch them grow?

What about a body of water freely flowing;

To drop your anchor of intellectual bestowing?

Maybe you need a pit that’s more than a novelty;

Where your sowing will reap a great harvest?

Maybe you just need the right kind of property;

Where your investment crops yield their largest?

I ask not to create a mystery, but stimulations;

To query your ability to handle the revelations.

A place unaffected by wind, sleet, ice or heat;

A shelter that protects and offers you retreat.

Do you really want to chance a depth unknown?

Do you really want the biblical bone-of-my-bone?

Or maybe you’re okay with your historical messiness;

Afraid to reach for the higher state of blessedness?

I can’t answer any of these questions for you.

I’m simply here to seek the answers from you.

I definitely didn’t draw near you to put on a show.

I just need to know: How deep do you want to go?
