If asked about my past being difficult, I would say not so much from normal life phases: marriage, divorce, single parenting, financial struggles, etc. Yet, it was those things that taught me that my Savior has always been faithful so why not try to be more like him?
When I understood who I was and whose I was, I refused to accept the opinions of those who tried to tear me down. They didn’t realize they helped me develop into who I am today, unashamedly.
If I’m anything like Moses, it’s that I didn’t let my shortcomings hold me back — I went instead to the source of my life to provide whatever was needed in the moment.
How about you?
